The New York immigration attorneys at Pozo Goldstein & Miranda, LLP have the experience it takes to represent clients in all aspects of immigration and nationality law.  Each partner brings their own experience to the firm.

Pedro A. Miranda is a former Immigration Judge who has presided over thousands of immigration cases in removal proceedings.  Before being appointed Immigration Judge, Miranda represented the United States as an Immigration Prosecutor for the Department of Justice.  Retired Judge Miranda brings invaluable experience to Pozo Goldstein & Miranda. 

Ada B. Pozo is a former County Court Judge in Miami-Dade County.   She tried thousands of criminal and civil cases, many with immigration consequences as the parties involved non-citizens.

Frieda M. Goldstein is a former U.S. immigration prosecutor in both the New York Immigration office at 26 Federal Plaza of the Office of Chief Counsel, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Miami Immigration Office of Chief Counsel.  Ms. Goldstein also served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the New York Immigration Court and the Miami Immigration Court.  Her more than eleven years experience in litigating removal proceedings in both New York and Miami are invaluable to our clients.   

Steven A. Goldstein is a former U.S. immigration prosecutor, having worked for the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement as a trial attorney in the litigation division.  He appeared countless times before the very same Immigration Judges that many clients face.  Mr. Goldstein has the experience of being a Government immigration trial attorney and that experience can make a difference in your case.

Mr. Goldstein has presented oral arguments before the United States Court of Appeal for the 11th Judicial Circuit.

Luigi Rosabianca clerked for the Immigration Judges at the New York Immigration Court before founding Rosabianca and Associates.   As of counsel to our New York immigration attorney office, he brings valuable experience as a former member of the New York Immigration Judge judicial law clerk staff.

Courtney Brooks Noce , also of counsel to Pozo Goldstein & Miranda, attended Georgia State University's College of Law and had the opportunity to gain legal experience in both the private and government sectors. She was an extern with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel's Strategic Litigation Division, and also spent one of her summers with a boutique law firm in New York.

Prior to transitioning into her legal career, Courtney was a business development and project manager in Atlanta with the Georgia Department of Economic Development's Innovation & Technology Office, where she worked to relocate and expand local and international businesses in the bioscience and technology sectors. She also served as the primary contact for the Department's Georgia-Lorraine international economic development partnership.

Courtney received her bachelor's degree in Business, with a focus in Finance and Marketing from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. While at McGill she also studied abroad in France, at the Institut Commercial de Nancy (ICN), and in Florence, Italy. After college, Courtney lived and worked in Florence. She is fluent in Italian and proficient in French. Courtney is "Of Counsel" to Pozo Goldstein & Miranda, LLP, practicing Immigration and Nationality Law.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking and exploring New York.

Maggie Arias was born in New York and obtained her degree in Criminology from the University of Florida.  She attended Stetson University Law School where she was a member of Stetson's Nationally recognized Trial Team.  Maggie has tried a gamut of cases ranging from grand thefts, burglaries, and aggravated batteries to trafficking, molestations, etc. 

Maggie was recently honored by the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers by receiving "The Young Lawyers Award" given to a young lawyer who exemplifies hard work in the legal arena and in service to the community.

Maggie brings her tenacious and aggressive style to defending the rights of immigrants facing deportation.  Maggie practices immigration law and criminal defense in Florida and deportation defense in New York and throughout the United States.
