Maggie Arias was born in New York and obtained her degree in Criminology from the University of Florida.  She attended Stetson University Law School where she was a member of Stetson's Nationally recognized Trial Team. 

Maggie Arias was born in New York and moved to Florida when she was five years old.  She obtained her degree in Criminology from the University of Florida.  She attended Stetson University Law School where she was a member of Stetson's Nationally recognized Trial Team.  As a former Assistant Public Defender and a recognized trial lawyer, Maggie has handled thousands of criminal cases and has tried cases ranging from DUI, trespass, assault and battery, to grand thefts, armed robbery, kidnapping, and molestation charges.  

Maggie was recently honored by the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers by receiving "The Outstanding Young Lawyers Award" given to a young lawyer who exemplifies hard work in the legal arena and in service to the community.

Maggie brings her tenacious and aggressive style to defending the rights of the criminally accused and of immigrants facing deportation.  It is Maggie's personal and professional mission to provide the highest quality legal representation to all her clients. 

In addition to her dedication to her profession, Maggie volunteers and helps to run an organic garden for at-risk youth.  The garden is at Troy Academy in Miami, Florida and is called Gardens of Troy.  She also teaches yoga.
